Once you have performed an initial defragmentation pass with PerfectDisk, how often do you need to run PerfectDisk to keep your system running at peak performance?
The answer to this depends on many different factors.
§ Configure StealthPatrol (Automatic Modes) of defragmentation, using OptiWrite, Auto Optimization, or Screen Saver, to keep your system at its best always.
§ With systems having a large amount of file creation/extension activity, a daily, online optimization, and weekly offline defragmentation schedule may be necessary to keep the system performing at its best.
§ With systems having very little file creation/extension activity, a monthly online/quarterly Offline defragmentation schedule may be the best.
§ With typical home or office systems, a weekly online/monthly Offline defragmentation schedule is usually sufficient to keep fragmentation to a minimum and the system performing at full speed.
